Vision: To build the world's largest credible, non-discriminatory, self-sustaining, educational funding platform - for the global community, by the global community.
WowTurf in brief
WowTurf brings together family and friends across the globe who value education with the same regard as they do life’s most sought after basic needs.
These people also understand that by simply standing together, they can create phenomenal opportunities for themselves, and others, at no risk and
at no financial cost.
In essence, WowTurf is based on a simple yet innovative concept: by targeting just a portion of the massive advertising spend of global corporations,
our subscribers have the opportunity to reap real rewards in the form of education funding.
Exploring the logic behind WowTurf
The Internet has brought with it a multitude of new opportunities, many of which are yet to be explored and discovered.
Human beings often look past the most basic opportunities presented in life, probably because we’ve been programmed to believe that
opportunity only lies within a complex web of organizational skills. This may be true when we stand alone, quite the opposite is often
the case when a number of people are walking in the same direction at the same time — and this is the key to creating educational opportunities.
In principle, this sounds extremely simple, but it does take a little effort on the part of those trying to get everyone walking in the same
direction since a platform is needed. And WowTurf is that platform. We bring together like-minded people as subscribers to our site and in
doing so, create an attractive target audience for exclusive global advertisers. In return, we redirect their advertising spend,
in full, back to our free subscriber database – you!
Imagine a global website like WowTurf with 100 Million free subscribers. What would a global advertiser, with exclusivity, pay for this
advertising exposure to a willing advertising audience of 100 Million people? Imagine if some of this advertising spend could be directed
to you, a free subscriber, for educational purposes with really very little effort on your part. In return for completing an action required
by the advertiser, you stand in line to win funding for education that may otherwise have been beyond your reach.
Such is the principle on which we have built WowTurf. You just need to subscribe
and tell trusted family and friends to do the same, and for
everyone to just keep doing the same thing over and over as we pass on the word. WowTurf can create something meaningful
for you and the global community as a whole, irrespective of your age, your beliefs or your background. We are here to promote
education and education only!
What about spam (annoying emails from advertisers)?
It is WowTurf who holds the database of subscribers and not the advertisers with whom we choose to work. Furthermore, WowTurf controls
the frequency of the emails you receive (only one a week) so there can never be any unwanted, irritating spam emails from any advertiser.
In addition, you will only be targeted by one exclusive advertiser at a time.
After all, we are all here to build a credible, self-sustaining platform that drives education as effortlessly as possible.
Subscribing
So here's how it happens from the top:
| 1: |
You subscribe for free. |
| 2: |
You only tell family and friends that you know & trust to follow WowTurf, passing on the word so that we may we build a healthy database of active subscribers. |
| 3: |
As the subscriber level builds exponentially, the project principal of WowTurf will continually target global advertisers, negotiating advertising deals for 100% redistribution back into the subscriber database on your behalf. |
| 4: |
The advertiser will enter into an agreement with WowTurf and this agreement will be made available for viewing to subscribers. |
| 5: |
As per the agreement, the advertiser will distribute the agreed advertising spend directly to the subscribers, by way of monthly random draws from the database. Control of funds lies with the global advertiser, ensuring credibility and eliminating any possibility of WowTurf retaining any portion of the funds. |
| 6: |
Draws will be conducted by a reputable auditing firm appointed, by way of majority vote, by the subscriber database. |
| 7: |
WowTurf reaches you with one weekly email, in which you may read the educational content provided or only do what is required by the advertiser to stand a chance of winning educational funding. |
However, we do hope that the interesting educational content from our four global categories will help stimulate parent/child interaction and,
in turn, teacher/child interaction, in this way adding a second dimension to our plight for superior education.
The choice to read and use the content we provide is completely voluntary and if it is only the educational funding you are after, then no problem.
By standing united, all parties benefit. The only real effort comes from those who continually build WowTurf. If you wish to come on board as a volunteer, do let us know. Help is always welcome!
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Why did we build WowTurf? To get cash to circulate more freely in the area of education. The advertising spend of global companies is huge and to move some of that cash into the field of education can only benefit global communities. There is lots to go around.
Is this similar to a lottery? It is similar to a lottery in that we distribute cash by way of audited draws. However, it is very different to a lottery since we do not take in cash. We only take in subscribers on whose inputs we rely to drive the subsistence of the project.
Is cash from a draw transferable to someone else? Yes, you may transfer the funds to anyone you like.
May the cash from a draw be sold to a third party? Yes, if you do not want it you may sell it at a discount to anyone you like. WowTurf will even assist you by contacting other subscribers. WowTurf will not, however, be involved in settling an agreed price for the sale.
May I use the cash from a draw for purposes other than education? No, you may not. Funds may only be used for educational purposes and proper proof — for example, a bona-fide, verifiable invoice from an educational institution — is required. WowTurf is about driving global education only.
What are the draw sizes? This depends on the amount negotiated by WowTurf with a global advertiser for advertising exclusively on the site. The greater the subscriber pool, the greater the advertising spend. The draw size is also determined by way of majority vote from the subscriber pool.
How would the underprivileged participate as they often do not have Internet access? Subject to a majority vote by the free subscribers, it is our aim to add at least one underprivileged community member from a registered institution for every ten subscribed members.
Is WowTurf a registered charity? WowTurf currently carries the dot.org status and is not officially registered in any country. Until there is commitment from the global community, the cost of registering a charity would compound on the pockets of the project principals building WowTurf. The funding committed to building the website alone is phenomenal and we are very careful about incurring non-essential expenditure. In time we will certainly register the site.
Do global companies really spend billions on advertising? Yes! Go and do a little research by taking this link: http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0DQA/is_2002_June_6/ai_87145870/ or even Googling "advertising budget nestle", for example. We may all share in some of this if we realise the power of standing together.
Should I tell everyone in my mailbox about this wonderful opportunity? To be honest, we would rather you did not. Only tell people who you know are genuinely interested. This will allow us to build on a solid foundation.
What is in it for the project principals building WowTurf ? Job satisfaction and permanent employment over time as we continue doing something we love. As our plans for WowTurf continue forward, job opportunities for people subscribed to WowTurf will be created too.
Who are the people behind the project? The Project Principal is Lloyd Neilson. The IT Principal is Gareth Bowers and the Design Principal is Adam Beasely. Find more detail on everyone at both Facebook and LinkedIn. Be sure to include the word 'WowTurf' when making contact, or you may be mistaken for spamming.
Does the WowTurf project welcome offers of assistance? Every project needs help and it is good to know what resources are available should the need arise. If you think you can help in any way, do let us know via the contact us link and we will be sure to get back to you immediately.
We look forward to having you join us at WowTurf.
